has been quite a bit. Unfortunate I let this fall to the wayside the way that I have but regardless at least something is being posted now.
It is December! (not anymore. I wrote this in December but didn’t post it till the 28th of jan) I don’t think j have to say the usual “ermmm this year flew by” blah blah but, yes, it has gone by quite quickly. I feel as if I have done and achieved quite a bit this year—I'm proud of myself and grateful to have been able to do what I have. I've moved across the US with the woman I'm going to marry... we made a home together. Though I have been struggling a bit, feeling isolated that comes with essentially starting over. I really like the people we’ve met and just must put in the effort to meet with them and do things. .
I think the main thing for me to take away from this year is to not let my mental health fall to the wayside. I stopped going to therapy in February and was fine for a bit until we moved as I had a support system. Isolating myself was very harmful to my mental health, and waiting months to return to therapy was not a great idea. I want to find myself better in the new year and make sure i am motivated. i feel numb still but am trying to work on it and ultimately that’s all I can do. Also, think I might have ADHD.
i want to start archiving more creepypastas on here. hopefully this month i will be on top of that but no promises. i also want to type up a little list of my favorite medias of the year. i think i have an idea of what I’ll be putting on the list. im slowly playing through the dragon quest games, the 3 remake got me like hooked. played through 3, 3 2dhd, 1, and 9 so far.
im trying to build a dark room in my room/office. Want to learn to develop my own film. I’ll post pics as i go. Think I'm going to buy black tarp and some wood and just DIY something like the ilford tent dark room.
